COHORT GROUP - Ethical Argument Presentation Instructions

This activity will help you focus on the Code of Ethics and how to deal with ethical situations, when the arise. 

• Activity 8.5 - Ethical Argument
   
  • Print and study the Ethics Pocket Guide.
    • Review one of the following situations in relation to the Ethics Pocket Guide.
      • Situation One: A pharmaceutical company
      • Situation Two: A nuclear power plant
      • Situation Three: Megabucks Energy Company
      • Or create a 'Fictional' situation you may have heard about.
         
    • Analyze the ethical issues and determine your position.
    • Create a short presentation (less than 5 minutes) that you might make in a meeting about this situation.
    • Rehearse the presentation, then talk through your position with a colleague, a spouse or a friend.
      • This is the important step.  Don't skip it.  We are interested in your PRESENTATION of the issue, not only your analysis!
    • Ask for feedback, then post your situation and feedback.
  • You may post your situation, an outline of your presentation and your feedback from your live presentation.
